Sulzbach am Taunus, GERMANY, April 13, 2018 – Fine chemicals producer CABB Group is creating a Chief Operating Officer (COO) function for its custom manufacturing sites in Pratteln (Switzerland) and Kokkola (Finland), effective July 2, 2018. This role will be filled by Jan Pranger, 59, who will also assume the position of Site Manager for Pratteln.

Jan Pranger has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of production, HSEQ and infrastructure. A chemical engineer, he joins the company from AkzoNobel, where he was responsible for five European sites and was also in charge of the operational excellence program. At CABB, he will be a member of the Group Management Committee and report to the CEO.

“The creation of this new function underlines once more our strong commitment to first-class production processes, quality, safety and sustainability”, comments CABB CEO Peter Vanacker. “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to attract an acknowledged expert with broad experience not only in the areas of operational excellence and HSEQ, but also in dealing with chlorine chemistry.”
