Sulzbach (Taunus), GERMANY, July 2, 2018 – Valerie Diele-Braun, 46, is to become the new CEO of the CABB Group. As the fine chemicals manufacturer announced today, she will succeed, effective August 27, 2018, Peter Vanacker who is moving on to the position of CEO of Neste Corporation, Finland.
In her previous role as a member of the executive board of Swiss chemicals manufacturer Archroma, 46 year old Ms. Diele-Braun was responsible for dynamically developing the business areas of packaging and specialty papers as well as coating, adhesives and sealants. She also held corporate-wide responsibility for business development.
From her earlier positions at DSM, Givaudan and as a management consultant, Ms. Diele-Braun – who holds dual German and Swiss citizenship – also brings comprehensive experience in growth and transformation projects, especially in specialty chemicals.
