Valerie Diele-Braun, CEO

Valerie Diele-Braun was appointed CEO of CABB Group in August 2018. A dual German-Swiss citizen, she gathered extensive experience in growth and transformation projects, particularly in specialty chemicals, in previous positions at DSM, Givaudan, and as a management consultant. Before joining CABB, she was a member of the Executive Board of Swiss chemical producer Archroma.

Markus Schürholz, CFO

Markus Schürholz joined CABB Group as its CFO in January 2019. He has held management positions in finance departments of international companies including Haniel Group, Escada AG and SAG Group for more than 25 years. Before joining CABB, he was CFO of Landgard eG in Straelen, Germany.

Thomas Eizenhöfer, Head of BU CM

Thomas Eizenhöfer has been responsible for the Custom Manufacturing division since April 2016. Over the course of his career of almost 30 years in the chemical industry, he has headed several business units and led a joint venture in Wuxi, China, for three years.

Jan Pranger, COO, BU CM

Jan Pranger has been Chief Operating Officer for the Custom Manufacturing Business Unit since July 2018. A native Dutch, he has over 20 years of experience in the areas of production, HSEQ and infrastructure. He joined CABB from AkzoNobel where he was responsible for five European sites.

Carsten Wörner, Head of BU Acetyls

Carsten Wörner has headed the Acetyls business unit since July 2017. During his previous 17 year tenure with Hoechst and Celanese, he was among others responsible for managing the worldwide acetic acid and acetic anhydride product lines from Shanghai. Before joining CABB, Wörner was Sales Director of Albis Plastic GmbH.
