ges\u00e4ttigten Kohlenwasserstoffs (Alkylgruppe) zu einem organischen Molek\u00fcl. Die Ausgangsverbindung der Alkylgruppe kann ein Alkylhalogenid, Alken, Dialkylsulfat oder eine beliebige Zahl anderer organischer Verbindungen sein. Die Produktion von Anisol durch die Reaktion von Phenol und Methylchlorid ist ein gutes Beispiel f\u00fcr diese Chemie.
