The locations in Pratteln (Switzerland), Kokkola (Finland) and Galena, Kansas (USA) support our custom-manufacturing clients under exclusive, long-term contracts. High-purity monochloroacetic acid and its derivatives are produced at our sites in Gersthofen and Knapsack (Germany) and Jining (China) for tailor-made supply chain solutions. A network of global sales channel partners further ensures timely, personalized service.

Our German site is an integrated production plant based on a chlorine membrane electrolysis. Located close to Augsburg in Bavaria, it offers one of the world’s most technologically advanced MCA facilities and is a producer of high-purity specialties as DCA, DCAC, glycolic acid, etc.

Our Swiss-based site is an integrated (“Verbund”) production plant and specializes in complex chlorine-based fine chemistry. It offers exclusive synthesis, specialties, intermediates and base chemicals for crop sciences, life sciences and performance materials. CABB‘s largest manufacturing site is backwards-integrated into reagents and intermediates.

Our US site runs complex multi-step batch processes from lab scale through pilot plant to commercial scale. This production plant is focused on the synthesis of advanced intermediates and actives for crop sciences, specialty and pharma markets according to cGMP standards, FIFRA and FDA registrations using highly automated equipment. The US site also manufactures special anhydrides with its flagship product BTDA.
